These terms and conditions may be changed at any time. Your use of Frenchmadesimple.com will be deemed to constitute acceptance of any variation of these terms and conditions.

All users are responsible for the content and accuracy of any information supplied by them. All users agree to release Frenchmadesimple.com from any claim, demands and damages of any kind which arise due to reliance on inaccurate information held on the Frenchmadesimple.com web site, systems and supporting infrastructure.

All users agree to release Frenchmadesimple.com, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates and third parties, from any liability for loss arising from the use of Frenchmadesimple.com.

All users agree to release Frenchmadesimple.com, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates and third parties, from any liability, resulting from the acts or omissions of other users (including unauthorised users, or "hackers") of Frenchmadesimple.com.

Frenchmadesimple.com reserves the right to close the account of any user for any reason. No refund, payment or compensation of any kind will be made to a user whose account has been closed due to breach of these terms and conditions.

General Use

All users agree not to publish or place computer code of any kind on Frenchmadesimple.com without our express permission.

All users agree not to distribute or share their account login details.

All users certify that they can form legally binding contracts under their applicable law.

Users must not use copyright material, trademarks or other protected proprietary information in any way without the written consent of the owner of such material.

Student Registration

The creation of a student account requires you to provide personal information. All students agree to the use of their personal information in accordance with the web site privacy policy (see below).

Booking and Payment

All students must book a lesson time with a teacher through their Frenchmadesimple.com account. Students must select an available lesson time from a language teacher's work planner and make payment of all fees necessary to complete our booking process. Any action or communication by a student with the objective of avoiding our fees, our booking process or to arrange lessons outside of Frenchmadesimple.com, is strictly prohibited and will result in the closure of the account of the student and teacher concerned and legal action will be taken for the recovery of monies deemed owing.

We reserve the right to alter or amend our fees at any time. All prices displayed publicly on Frenchmadesimple.com are inclusive of all fees.

Refunds, Cancellation and rescheduling

Our refund policy will not affect your statutory rights. Students may reschedule or cancel a lesson through their account up to 24 hours before the lesson is due to commence. Within 24 hours of the lesson start time, no refunds will be issued and no changes can be made. If the Student previously purchased a 2-hour, 4-hour, 10-hour or 20-hour membership, the cancelled lesson will have to be rescheduled by the student. No refunds will be issued. Where a student fails to attend a lesson, they shall remain liable for the total published fee per lesson. Each teacher will wait 10 minutes for the student to call French Made Simple on Skype. After 10 minutes, the lesson will be cancelled and no refunds will be issued. If the student starts his lesson late, the finish time of the lesson will not change; for instance, if a lesson was scheduled between 14:00 and 14:25 and the student connected at 14:10, the lesson will still end at 14:25.

Use of Skype

All users acknowledge that Frenchmadesimple.com is not responsible for the quality of the Skype interface or the quality of communications between users using Skype.

Account Closure

Students may close their account at any time but shall remain liable to Frenchmadesimple.com for any unpaid lesson fees.

Laws and Regulations

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland. The provisions of this agreement are severable. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision may be removed and the remaining provisions will be enforced.

Protecting your Personal Information

Appropriate measures are taken to protect your personal information including making a regular backup of our system and data. Your account is password protected and all information is on a secure server, which we can not access.

Even though we take appropriate technical steps to protect your security we cannot and do not provide any guarantees regarding the effectiveness of the security we employ or our ability to prevent third parties from acting unlawfully and obtaining information that you provide to us. By using Frenchmadesimple.com you accept and acknowledge that data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed as 100% secure and that you use the website at your own risk.

Use of your Personal Information

We use your personal information for the purposes of: providing our service; answering your queries; administration; statistics; research and marketing and other purposes as may be necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. We may provide aggregate data to third parties however this data will not include information that can be used to identify any individual (name, phone number, email address, skype username).

Following registration users are provided a communication system which does not require the disclosure of any individual users email address. Users accept that disclosure of their individual email address to other users of Frenchmadesimple.com is entirely at their own risk.

Financial Information

Frenchmadesimple.com does not store financial details including debit and credit card numbers nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Users will be required to enter their financial details each time a transaction is made through Frenchmadesimple.com.

Our system will issue cookies to your computer when you log on to the website. We use cookies on our site to: make it easier for you to log on; cut down the number of times you have to type in certain data; record the success of advertising, to target advertising and to track visitor usage.

The cookies used on the website do not collect your personal information. Some of our web pages may contain invisible electronic tags that allow us to count users that have visited certain pages. You cannot be identified by these tags and they are not issued by us but by the relevant advertising provider.
